Buy an ink cartridge for £28, or...
buy an new printer for £50! Yes, I was fed up with having to shell out huge amounts for an ink cartridge for my HP printer (bought in a bit of a rush x years ago when I first got my iBook - along with my crappy scanner and Zip drive - which I never use cos I've lost one my only 250Mb disk and have password locked my other disk and can't remember the password - d'oh!)
Ahem. Anyway, I decided to buy a new printer today instead - the Canon iP2000 (if you're interested). The cartridges only cost £6 for a black and £11 for a colour (although I read a review of the printer and some bloke said he bought job lots of 10 for only £14 - bargain), so that's a saving already!
And the bonus is that it prints really good photos, so they no longer have to stay on my hard drive.
Which is nice.
